I have to reblog this every time I see it, because there has never been a more iconic moment ever.

why watch james charles or jeffree star do their stupid makeup when you can watch this angel she is so talented and she doesnt get anywhere near as much recognition as those 2 which is fucking ridiculous.

I’d also like to add that she uploaded a bob Ross tutorial with makeup over a month ago and Nikki tutorials and James Charles both uploaded the same thing about two weeks ago days apart from each other which started shit over who came up with it and neither of them credited her at all

Link to her insta for those who hate looking for stuff like me

Did she do a tutorial for the lisa frank looking look?

Hi! It’s me lol zoe. No I didn’t actually! The look wasn’t too difficult but I didn’t film a tutorial. I’m sorry!!!

No i get that lol, you have beautiful ideas and your videos are so nice!

dimensions of executive function issues

towardsagentlerworld:

(different reasons that i might not be able to focus, how to tell them apart, and [maybe] how to solve them. work in progress.)

low energy
- feeling tired and sleepy
- yawning a lot
- working feels like it takes way too much energy; I’d rather just sleep
- feels effortful even to think
- seek low-mental-effort activities like tumblr
solutions: stimulants (incl. caffeine), listening to energetic music, getting up and going for a 20+ minute walk

lack of self-monitoring
- feel like i’m running on autopilot
- can’t easily recall the last 3 things I did
- get up and walk around a lot; get lost in daydreams and thoughts
- difficulty verbalizing thoughts
- can respond to prompts, but hard to generate new plans/thoughts
- often goes along with low energy
solutions: not getting up and going for a walk, sitting at my desk and listening to happy-energetic music while looking at the task. talking through the problem with someone else – it’ll be hard at first but having to converse will bring my self-monitoring system back online.

restlessness
- feeling bored, wanting stimulation
- feeling frustrated
- changing sitting position often, feeling uncomfortable, fidgeting a lot
- seek tasty food but almost all food is not tasty enough
solutions: try working with loud energetic music and a fidget toy. if this doesn’t work, go outside and run around for a bit until you’re breathing hard, then try again. let yourself have sugar after the run if you still want it.

compulsion for something else
- pulled towards other, more interesting thoughts/activities
- if i start working, i get sidetracked by the more interesting things without noticing
- easy to enter flow state on other tasks, just not this one
solutions: this one is hard. write down the more exciting thoughts and promise yourself you’ll come back to them? (you may not come back to them.)

task aversion
- feeling stressed when i think about the task
- or, thoughts slip off the task easily (ugh field)
- feeling scared or self-hatey when i think about the task
solutions: try working on the task for just two minutes. if you still hate it / feel scared after two minutes, you can stop. try talking through the task with someone else and figuring out small first actions. try listening to happy-calm-forward-motion music. query your brain about other small things that would make you feel happy to be at your desk (tea? wearing your jacket if it’s cold? moving to a conference room with better lighting?) and if they’re easy, do those, and take the time to appreciate them as you’re doing them. but mostly, talk through the task and get help from others.

#should have done the blonde anime girl in the red plaid

you mean

image

yes that one exactly

image

wake me up inside

That first image is an edit of HUGZzz by Irene Strychalski. She’s improved tremendously in the past nine years, and you can see her current work on her tumblr, reniedraws! She has done backgrounds for Archer and Unsupervised, backgrounds and character designs for Chozen, and pencils and inks for issue #1 of Deadpool Family. She’s currently making a webcomic called Shaman Child. Here’s some of her current art:

As for the anime girl in the plaid skirt, I braved the hellscape that is early ‘00s anime websites, exploring endless gif-covered Gaia pages and vampire-filled roleplay forums, traveling across seas of unsourced DeviantArt edits and low-res hentai, to discover that she is an original character by Hiro Suzuhira. She has done work for Shuffle!, Ef: A Tale of Melodies, Akikan!, Phantom Breaker, and We Without Wings, among many others, and she is also a prolific freelance illustrator. Here are some examples of her art:

Things they don’t tell you about being a first time wheelchair user in highschool

helloagonyaunt:

ash-the-neko:

angelkin-autie:

Literally everyone will ask if you broke your leg(s). Everyone. Even people you don’t know. Theyll ask a lot and think you’re extremely fragile.

bruises show up within the first day of rolling around, and they can really suck

people will try to grab your chair if they think you’re struggling and it can be hard not to snap at them for it

static electricity is a huge issue. You will probably either continuously shock your leg when you’re rolling around or do what I did today and zap someone so hard as you pass that both of you nearly keel over

people will call you out as a faker if you do anything even remotely fun ever on your wheelchair. Wheelies? Obviously your legs are fine lol not like you have to go down fucking curbs /s

puddles are the worst and if there’s a curb with a puddle all around and you have some ability to walk its a better idea to just stand up and navigate the chair than to fall backwards into said puddle

weird looks from people are inevitable, especially from people who don’t like you

bus drivers will often push your chair and give you advise you don’t want to hear, even if you tell them nicely you can push yourself. Its really hard not to get mad at them for it

no wheelies in school. Though if you do it in the elevator when no one else is with you you can’t really get caught.

speaking of wheelies, always be ready to throw at least one arm behind you in case you fall. They say tuck your chin in but its easier and more reliable to throw your hands back and keep your neck up so you don’t hit the floor. Sore arms are way easier to put up with than head injuries

don’t even bother to try and roll back up curbs. You will either be there for an hour or fall backwards. I managed to do both.

90% of classrooms that aren’t special ed are not very wheelchair accessible.

people will automatically assume you’re faking something if you’re not considered dumb enough in their standards to fit in with disabled students (aka high class ableism at its finest)

people are going to give you weird looks if you don’t suddenly start sitting with the other disabled kids

standard backpacks usually dangle way too much to keep on you easily, so try to pack light

built in storage on wheelchairs cannot sufficiently carry books

don’t try to hold an umbrella. Period. Especially not with your teeth. It doesn’t work.

don’t try to give the bus driver your ticket while you’re stuck on the ramp. And speaking of, its easy to start falling down the bus ramp so be careful, and when in doubt throw on the breaks

and finally if you’re like me pray to god you don’t go nonverbal when someone is trying to push you and you don’t want them to because it is hard to get them to stop if you can’t speak

able-bodied people can and should 1000% reblog this, some of these things I’ve seen on tips about using a wheelchair but a lot of these weren’t things I’ve seen

Seriously, never, ever touch someone’s mobility aid without their permission.

A very helpful guide, both for first-time wheelchair users and those around them!

💓💛💙

The worst trick a childhood anxiety disorder pulls is, you spend your early years being applauded for being so much more mature than your peers, because you aren’t disruptive, you don’t want any kind of attention, you don’t express yourself, you keep yourself to yourself - this makes you a pleasure to have in class, etc etc - and you start to believe it’s virtue. But you’re actually way behind your peers in normal social development, and who knows if you can ever catch up.

Never heard a truer thing in my life.

holy shit wait you mean being just morbidly terrified of doing anything wrong ISN’T necessarily the same as being “well behaved?!”
